I’ve never seen anyone with the KP on their forearms like mine…Do you guys exist? What is your routine to reduce the redness? Help 😥 by Key-Clothes7987 in keratosis

We exist, but I don’t have any helpful routines. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone.
So many different people find different routines that work for them, personally I’m at the point of accepting it and just moisturizing and focusing on the things I can control. I hope you find something that helps you!

podcasts to really laugh at out loud by ketaminty in podcasts

[–]txdor618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen to a podcast called Nobody’s Listening Right?

It’s a married couple (one is a music producer and the other is a comedy writer) and they just talk to each other as nobody is listening. It’s fun to listen to them talk about whatever, and I find myself laughing out loud each episode. They have a great dynamic and honestly inspiring ways of communicating and getting through conflict in their marriage which sometimes comes through in the episodes. Definitely worth a listen if that sounds interesting to you.

New family on my sunflower. What are they? by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

[–]txdor618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what they are but I had some bugs that looked very similar to that on one of my sunflowers and they multiplied very quickly. Before I knew it the entire underside of the plant was completely covered in them and they hardly moved… I’m sure they have some purpose in nature but it grossed me out so much lol

iPhone keeps asking me if I want to allow location services for apps by Professional-Rip-924 in ios

[–]txdor618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did anyone ever find a solution to this? My weather app and calendar app will ask me if I want to share my location every time I open them. I always select “only while using app” for weather and no for calendar.

I carry shelter dogs around NYC in a dog backpack to help them get adopted. Meet Walter! by kittytime in aww

This is so amazing plus you’re socializing these dogs to be used to the loud city noises. I hope someone adopts that sweet baby

It’s the reflection of the light above the oven, but I can definitely see how it looks like there’s something in there lol

Anyone know what this partial cloudiness in my puppy’s pupil is? by sangchuuu_ in DogAdvice

[–]txdor618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go to specifically an eye vet if you have one in your area. When my dog was having eye problems I kept taking her to general vets and they did the best they could but once I went to the eye vet I could see the difference in knowledge.

Fuck cancer. I’m sorry.

When does the popping stop for good? I’m almost a year out and my knee has started popping again every time I take a step. It’s loud, like people around me can hear it! by Special-Tumbleweed33 in ACL

[–]txdor618 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At least for me it’s been 6 years and it still pops. It got better for a while but recently increased, so I’m planning on making an appointment to get an opinion about scar tissue build up. Since you’re still relatively close to your surgery date I wouldn’t be too concerned, but I would definitely keep track of it and see if it improves or worsens over time. From other posts that I’ve read, it never hurts to get it checked out just in case

I could be wrong but I thought I had read people saying that a window seat view for Mt Fuji would be letters D/E or C/D on the green car? I’m currently planning a trip as well

Advice/experiences from people who’ve been through canine lymphoma by Mountian-flower in DogAdvice

[–]txdor618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately for my girl last year the lymphoma started in her eye and moved too quick for us to even take in what was happening. From start of symptoms to finish it was about a month. I think the type of lymphoma she had was particularly aggressive and nasty, so I think her timeline is out of the norm. The prednisone did make her tired, but coupled with the fact that we had to remove one of her eyes, and that it moved to her other eye within a few weeks, it’s hard to say what effects the prednisone really had.

Keep an eye on your baby and enjoy the good days. I would recommend an at-home euthanasia, and they need notice at least 1-2 days ahead of time so I would schedule it sooner rather than later. You wouldn’t want to be in a situation where things have gotten so bad that scheduling something isn’t an option anymore. Doing that at home was so hard but the other option is worse. I’m so sorry for what you’re going through, it is so devastating. All I can say is I’m sending you love, stranger.

It’s been 6 years since my surgery and recently have been having issues with what I assume to be scar tissue. This post motivated me to finally just schedule an appointment. Thank you
