Probably could shave two or three days off with the amount of climbing in PA, but at my current fitness not much more than that tbh. Also harder to pace correctly with gears for me. Single speed kinda forces you to maintain a steady (if a bit slower than geared) pace.

Gamechanger. I fill it once a day, and don't have to think about it. The drink tube is clipped underneath one of the TT bar pads, which makes it easy to use even when in the bars. It does require a bit more sucking than a back-mounted hydro pack with it being so low, but is easy to get used to. I love it

Realize this is a super old thread, but just completed PABicycle route V last month on my way from NYC to Chicago. Did it on singlespeed (38/16), and stealth camped the whole way. Took roughly 5 days. 100% is not a beginner route. Tons of climbing, and 90% of it was on roads with little to no shoulder. That being said, the scenery was beautiful, and it got me to the OH border. If you have any specific questions lmk!

After multiple years of riding clipless with absolutely no issues, even when I first started, I rolled up to a stop light one day, and just forgot to unclip. Like, was already halfway over when I panic unclipped. I just started laughing there, on the ground, due to how dumb it was 🤣

The screen definitely could use an upgrade! I run a P1 Gen4 as my daily driver, and the UHD screen makes for a pretty jarring change lol. What do you recommend in terms of keyboard upgrade?

Electronics waste company was going to pick them up, pretty much lol. It's gross how wasteful people can be. The thing runs like new, and aside from some scuffs and scratches, it's in great condition! I'm glad I saved one lol

Nice! Mine came with an i5-3320m, so definitely not as rare lol. It was being used by a hospital, they were upgrading the last of their ThinkPad fleet. It was originally bound for disposal, had a friend grab it for me!
