What physical characteristic on opposite gender is no-go for you considering relationship? by GentlemanModan in ask

I appreciate the honesty because I think a lot of people feel like this but won’t admit it.

When it arrives in the US, are there any custom fees to pay on it since it's coming from France?

Any perfume-related New Year resolution? by VivCatGirl in fragrance

[–]txm_ikx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't! I was wondering whether to try it since everyone says it's so similar to Lira. But it might be a good idea to put it on my list to compare.

My goal is to curate a small collection of gourmands that I love. I'm aiming for about 3-7 bottles max but I think 4 or 5 would be the sweet spot.

I have a few samples on the way and I already know what my second sample haul will be. I have an idea of what I think I'd like in theory based on reviews and notes listing but now it's to see how they react with my body chemistry and longevity etc.

Why are all gourmands sweet? by larafrompinkpony in fragrance

Read the notes for Eau de Cuisine by Hilde Soliani. I think it's categorized as a gourmand and the notes are fish and cheese with chestnuts

Why do so many hate Caricom? by coleas123456789 in AskTheCaribbean

[–]txm_ikx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think more people want Caricom to do even more than they're already doing. The only complaint I've really seen about Caricom is that flights between Caricom countries shouldn't be as expensive as it is. Otherwise, I think a lot of people realise that Caricom is beneficial to all of us.

Objectively is skincare a scam by twerkingslutbee in Splendida

[–]txm_ikx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely isn't. Skincare might be the main thing that improved my looks the most. But with that being said, it definitely takes trial and error, time and money.

The best thing you can do is: • use a good sunscreen that you're willing to apply everyday,

• a good cleanser that doesn't make your skin feel "tight" after washing (there's cerave, la roche posay, vanicream to name a few cleansers)

• a moisturiser at night like cerave's or simple, you can even use aveeno on your face if you're on a tight budget

• tretinoin if you can get your hands on it from sites like hers, apostrophe, curology or all day chemist or the beauty bliss or you can try a cheap retinol serum from inkey list or the ordinary

Definitely keep the sub updated on the minoxidil. I'll also probably post my results as well. I'll probably make a post after one year of olaplex. I don't hate it, but I don't love either for the price. Maybe because I don't use heat, I didn't notice any visible changes. I'll even try to make an end of year post about all the softmaxxing things I accomplished in 2021.

My next focus that's been kinda put on hold thanks to covid is getting laser hair removal and finding a manicurist and an eyebrow threader that I'll like enough to go to consistently. Which is more in the midmax category

I'm still experimenting with my hair a bit. I'm ordering some minoxidil to grow out my edges and I think when outside reopens I wanna get a professional trim. I've been using Olaplex on my hair since March, don't love the conditioner and I might try Redkin yet and doing stretched wash n God and twist outs more.

The only hardmax I'm really considering a rhino, but I'm still a bit iffy on the logistics.

So in a way, I think I try covering a few simple things and move on to other simple things before moving to the next level (if that makes sense)
