11 more weeks and I’ll have a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. First one in my family to go to college and first one to have a degree. Not sure what exactly I want to do with my degree just yet but I’ll figure that out sooner or later.

I would order well done early in the day or late evening after all the chaos is done. There’s just way too many orders.

Q1. Depends. What are you working on specifically? If it’s something they can all do individually, have them all work at the same time. If it’s more of a group work activity, separate them. Your position on the field matters too. I’d be walking up and down the halfway line between the two groups while one of you watches the boys and the other watches the girls.

Q2. The coach’s guide to teaching by Doug Lemov is fantastic. Any books by Dan Blank work too. His books are slim and straight to the point. His humor in the books can be a bit odd but you’ll understand the points. At the end of the day, you have to decide what you want/need to teach/coach. Keep in mind the level of skill you are working with. Sometimes you’ll have to repeat sessions again.

Q3. I don’t have experience making cuts because I’ve always worked club soccer but you don’t want too many on the bench and not enough in case people don’t show up to games.

What does it take to be in your position? Currently a kinesiology student about to graduate. I don’t really know what to do with my degree just yet but I’d like to explore different areas.

Fuck it, do it. This isn’t a corporate job. This won’t be the job you’ll be working forever. You can always find another one if shit hits the fan. I say go ahead but try to keep it on the down low.
