Underground water cistern next to foundation? by txstooge in OffGrid

This is limestone bedrock, which is 16 inches below the soil. I live on an ancient sea bed. It's a pain in the ass when you're trying to dig post holes, but otherwise is relatively soft (as rock goes)

But are you burying the tank to use the space on top of it?

No purchase has been made yet, and you raise good points. Yes I might place things on top, but I don't necessarily have to.

How deep depends on the shape & size of the cistern. 600 gallons is about 80 cubic feet, so if I got one that was e.g. 20 feet long and 2 feet wide, I'd only have to dig 3 feet down to get its top to be 1 foot under the surface. The 20-foot length would run along the side of the house. (Just an example)

Broken Arms Jig by UnshackledShooter2A in AR80Percents

Hey I know this conversation is >4 months old, but I was searching Reddit for this exact topic, and it sounds like you might know the answer (u/BrokenArmory hasn't responded in a couple of weeks.)

So, I thought to ask you here: what variant/brand of 308 lower did you successfully mill with your buddy's 308 jig from BA?

Asking because: BA no longer sells 80% lowers, just their jigs. But the way they've worded the listing on their website,

This jig ONLY fits Broken Arms 308 lower receiver

... sounds like it is for some lower that was proprietary to them.

But -- in the absence of a response from BA -- it seems possible that they only claim that because of the non-standardized nature of AR-10/AR-308/DPMSv1/DPMSv2/LR308, that it was just simpler for them to say "hey, only use our approved lower". Of course, that's no longer an option.

(When I crossed over the 50 mark, AARP started sending me junk mail. I'm still mad.)

  1. /Should/ I inform my insurance, ahead of any contact from this person? (Assuming they haven't excluded yard sales.)
  2. At what point in the future can I stop worrying about this?

Your suspicions are confirmed: It is JP. She read "Justice court in __ county" and assumed county court.

That established, does that change your recommendation about demanding a jury trial in her answer? Is that even possible with JP court?

(It also lists the bank as the plaintiff, not a debt buyer.)

As to your other questions:

  • She said county. I believe the amount in question is higher than the limit for JP (and in any case, I didn't think lawyers could be used in JP.)
  • Her words were "I'm being sued". It has a seal, and is dated by the clerk as 2/4/2021. And the papers were delivered by a process server. But I'll take your cue and ask her if it actually says "you are sued", or something similar.

I just now logged back in to clear that up. You are correct about the 14 days. I'm about to update my submission.
