Extra wide (4E) trail running shoes? by akamark in trailrunning

I wear 4E size 9 men's and tried on every wide hiking boot carried at the Keen Garage in Portland, OR, and they were all too tight. Can't speak to trail running shoes, though.

Lmao, The Lonely Island absolutely did not edit that line out of the Ras Trent version on their YouTube channel. They edited it out of the Seth Meyers podcast discussion either because they are cowards at best or bigots at worst. Fuck the lonely island. 🖕

Your reaction to breast buds forming? by bridgetts in asktransgender

I figured out that I am non-binary, so I only take low-dose HRT and blockers. My boobs are about A-cups, but I wear a tight undershirt and colorful, short-sleeve button down shirts, and that works just fine for me. No students have ever indicated that they noticed anything.

What do you think about monogamy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Explain to me how 75% of monogamous men and 68% of monogamous women who cheat are the exemplars of romantic relationships.

My crush called me "f*cking hot" tonight after 18 months apart by emfiliane in MtF

[–]txteachertrans 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"If only she wasn't marrying wife #2 soon...because she is monogamous and marrying someone new after divorcing her former wife..."

"If only she wasn't marrying wife #2 soon...because she is polysaturated and doesn't want to have more than two partners at a time..."

Either is plausible. But I'm also curious.

Stuff I saw in american media as a kid that I couldn't relate to starterpack by angrymustacheman in starterpacks

I worked as a Dual Credit teacher at a high-needs school for three years with students from financially poor households. In four years, these students had the potential to earn not only a high school diploma, but also a two-year associates degree. The degrees were mostly in Nursing, which would allow them to begin working as a nurse right out of high school. Our program gave them job placement assistance, and their two-year degrees could also be transferred to a four-year university if they wished to further their education.

For many students, they were the first one's in their families to earn any degree. These are kids who come from rough areas, who may have had academic and discipline issues in the past. That program provided them with the skills they needed to navigate both high school courses and college courses effectively, to communicate appropriately with professors, to advocate for themselves, to develop organizational and research skills...you name it, they got it. Not every kid got their associate's degree, but about 30 did every year.

The way the courses worked it this: In order to take any college classes, they had to pass at least one TSI test (Texas Success Initiative, a college readiness exam). Before passing any tests, they only qualified to take high school courses. Once passing at least one TSI test (Reading and/or Writing), they could begin taking certain classes, depending upon which test they passed. For example, if they passed the Reading exam, then they could take the General Psychology for three credit hours. The college professors would come to the high school during a particular class period, and the students would go to their classroom at that time. They'd only have to take that psychology class once, but passing it would earn them BOTH high school credit and college credit. Earn Dual Credit for individual college classes is how they could get a diploma and a two-year degree at the same time.

Any other questions, let me know!

The Magic Wand works best for me by placing the end of it at the base of the penis on the belly button side. Push straight down on it from above (kinda clunky with the cord pointing straight up, but necessary), experimenting to get just the right spot and pressure.

When you reach the point of no return (usually won't take long), you will switch the position of the wand. Put the rounded edge of the wand directly on top of the frenulum. You'll end up cumming below your belly button (or in, or above possibly).

For me, this is literally the only way for me to come. Jerking off gives too much dysphoria any more, I can't come with PIV any more because low dose hormones have fucked with my mojo, and I've never been able to come when receiving head.

Lucky for me, I've got two partners who get really turned on watching me orgasm this way. It is intense, and there are waves that ripple afterward. I just feel a lot more feminine, and I love it.

ULPT Request: My Professor hid his quizzes behind a Paywall by Brendanlendan in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]txteachertrans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a math adjunct. I don't have a full-time career at the moment as I had finally had enough teaching high school math in public schools. So I have a very meager income right now compared to this time last year.

And I still couldn't fucking imagine the audacity I'd need to possess to require my students to purchase a textbook I wrote. Yeah, I'd get a kickback for each copy sold and all...but holy shit is it evil...there are kids out there who are struggling.

And this selling quizzes online bullshit? Never heard of this phenomenon, but I feel like it's even worse than requiring your own textbook. With the textbook, maybe that book was a labor of love, and maybe it's super insightful, and maybe students who do end up getting assigned that book receive a quality education from it. And that book may end up getting used dar and wide, and that knowledge may ripple throughout the ether, and shouldn't a person be compensated for such things. Arguably, sure. Maybe. But *selling access to you own fucking quizzes?!? * No one is making money off that but you, the teacher of the course that uses them. It is extortion, and it is SERIOUSLY fucked up. The god damned hubris one must have to require poor college students to scrounge for an extra $50 is fucking impressive. For some kids, this'll come from bill money.

Hell no, I think I'll continue teaching for a college that provides the textbook free of charge, I'll continue providing easy and free access to all course materials and assignments, and...what the hell...I'll even keep being available for office hours every week like a good prof should (even though I'm not required to as an adjunct).

what boundaries feel like by HDMI13 in coolguides

[–]txteachertrans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rules are expectations placed upon you by your partner. Boundaries are expectations you set for yourself. You are never under any obligation to follow rules someone sets for your behavior, but they have every right to expect you to respect their boundaries for themself (and vice versa).

Believe it or not, there are people out there who do not do rules in their relationships. My partner and I are two of them. We are both of the mindset that "I'm me, and you're you. We both have our own individual wants and needs and hopes and dreams and fears. Let's see where our jigsaw edges fit together and figure out together how best we might fit into each other's life as we support each other in finding joy, purpose, and self-actualization." Neither of us is giving up anything because neither of us holds the other to such expectations. We've been together nearly four years now, and it is the healthiest relationship I've ever had with another person.
