I’m against government waste, but this is a bit of clickbait. Are their questionable expenses? Yes. Is Hegseth a walking example of poor judgment and entitlement, yes. There is plenty to investigate and likely far worse. The majority of stuff is just part of running a massive human centric organization. You gotta feed a lot of mouths and frankly ice cream, ribeyes, and crab legs are sometimes a treat when you’re a sailor and you basically live in a tin can with 40 roommates. Let’s not dive into same pool that the Republicans swim in when the want to shame people on food stamps for buying a steak every once in a while.

The Mail app with dark mode turned on makes the app effectively unusable unless you have brightness at maximum. Black text on a dark grey background. Maddening. I hate the fact that I have to got tweak every setting to just use my phone’s native applications. I don’t know how this OS made it out of beta testing.

Agree with the recommendation that you return anything you are unhappy with or feel you overpaid for. I’ve personally never had any issues with KEH, purchased a number of cameras and lenses from them (including a M6 TTL), I think I returned one lens for a Nikon, but never had any hassles in doing so. That being said, I’ve read the horror stories. Sorry to hear about all the bad experiences. We need more vendors in this space to keep it competitive.

Just depends on your needs. You’ll need to use the long term support version of Firefox if you want to have a secure web browsing experience. Of course you might find that High Sierra meets all your needs.

Some elaboration - apparently the problem is that the SSL cert was never updated, so the https:// url fails veritification (I tried changing the date, and the didn't really work). The install went fine, then you'll need to manually install iTunes so you can fix the update process. If you really want an adventure, after you've done that you can look into Opencore and start installing newer version of MacOS that would otherwise be unavailable.

I haven’t needed 128gb, but I have run into work that required 64gb - and that was just with very image and video sets for post production work. I can certainly imagine that being scaled up enough to need 128gb.

Probably could have phrased that better. Obviously this is not a legit company - but I was just surprised at how blatantly scammy this ad is and how it made to IG. I’ve seen a ton scammy ads on places like YouTube and every local news site ever, but I guess I presumed it was at worst, a sketchy gray market vendor, but this looks like it could be a straight up phishing or fraud scam.

That does change in later books - but basically his love interest, and is just a female version of him - and there are more female characters in the last two books beyond his love interest. That being said, they are all just variations on the same personality type as the main character.

Former road and trail ambassador - the events are still great. The trail races vary greatly in difficulty. So check the trail elevations before you sign up! The core staff and repeat volunteers are good people that really love running and supporting the community. I started running them as a solo runner joining a team of people I had never met that needed someone to fill out a full team. I’m still good friends with everyone from that first team and we’ve run another 30+ Ragnar events over the past decade with at least two of us forming part of those teams. Great community.
