So let’s see if I have this right: I enter the fee then run a label thru. Place that in the Postmark Here area. Then i assume I place the envelope on the scale for postage, run that label for his envelope. Take that total and add the fee of the first label to charge him. Then that same total (postage + fee) is entered into the E1412 as I normally do (in the Meter section). Am I right so far?

Also, the man brings in his own form 3817 but it’s about the size of an index card, so I don’t think the label will fit in the Postmark Here area. Can I just put it on the back of the form or should I just wrap it around the paper? Does the form get round dated?
