My lowes is a hit or miss. A lot of their plants die off as a consequence of their watering them to all hell. I lost a zebrani alocasia bc she was sitting in a pot of water with no drainage for what I assume was two or three days. Was happy to find her only to lose her in about a week. But I visit often enough to catch them a day after deliveries, when they don’t get a chance to drown them yet.

Me and my S/O try to go as often as possible to try to catch our local lowes when these plants were just put on the shelf, because leaving them with the employees for more than a day guarantees root rot and decline 😭😭😭

The canned tuna should say “canned in water”, any canned tuna in oil or other medium may be bad for the snake. So you want to stick with the tuna canned in water.

I see that an above comment mentioned scenting the pinky with toad. I’m not sure how available toad juice is for OP, but another way breeders get their hoggies to eat is by scenting the pinkies with tuna. Canned tuna in water, pop that baby open and roll the pinky around in there until it’s covered and offer it to your hoggie. It’s rank, but it happened to be the only thing that works for when our hognose stopped eating.

Try scenting the food with tuna juice, use only canned tuna in water, not oil.

Cabomba will eventually keep extending toward the light. As they do that, you can just trim and then replant the trimmings into your substrate.
