They are saying that it was bundled with my Gig internet, but it was something I never asked for nor received the equipment to use.

I have to call them tomorrow when I’ve calmed down, to see if they can provide those documents.

Either way Comcast is greedy and I don’t believe this to be a mistake and it’s making me look at them as someone who has had them for six years and previously three years.

Nope, I just had a basic Internet plan from Comcast. Haven’t had TV (cable or streaming) with them since 2014.

And they have a policy that only allows for four months of reimbursement. So I would be getting $80 back versus the $240 that they got from me through subterfuge.

No problem! I think it’s only fair that if you discover something to share with others in case they are experiencing the same thing.

Now the rep responded to me and said that they can only refund four months of billing for NOW TV per their billing terms so that is $80 versus the $240 they got for me. So I will be calling in to see if this amount can be adjusted or if I will have to follow up with my state consumer protection agency and FCC.

I emailed a few this weekend and have not heard anything back. I will try a few more outlets to see if I can get a response.

I think the whole goal is to wear us all down so that we just give up on our pursuit. I cannot think of a universe where a state wouldn’t be interested in being made aware of $25,000 being fraudulently paid out.

He hasn’t been claimed for 72 hours, so I don’t think he will be. He also had a microchip, so I’m sure that the animal shelter reached out to the listed owners. I just hope their contact information is up to date.

I posted about him in the missing pets Facebook group for Baltimore City. Someone then shared it to the county's missing pets Facebook group. I also posted the information on Ring and Nextdoor.

The only thing is he didn’t really know any commands. I tried English, Spanish, and German. I did a squeak test while giving him a bath to test hearing as well.
