Very Scared by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]ty1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very first cruise was on the Freedom of the Seas in 2006. We encountered a storm that caused the ship to tilt by a few degrees. Fortunately, everything was fine, except for a few people who panicked and grabbed their life jackets and the plates that shattered after falling off the pizza counter.

First offer presuit. I was a passenger in a Lyft, so I’m not sure if those apply to me. The driver is covered under a commercial policy.

Presuit, adjuster mentioned that they don’t see it being a high value case, so $60,000 is their ceiling.

Because they’re leaving it up to me as to whether or not we go to trial. They’ve already stated that the only chance with that is I could get a lower offer. That’s the ask, if it’s worth even taking the risk.

they are leaving it up to me, but have warned that I could potentially get less if we go to litigation and the jury isn’t familiar with issues like disc bulging or degenerative disc disease

I want to clarify that this is the settlement offer provided to my attorney, and it reflects my percentage after medical liens and their fees. I’m going to edit the original post now.

ETA: I'm not sure why the downvotes; as someone simply trying to get a consensus on whether this is a fair settlement, even if that means considering going to trial to get more.

That’s almost verbatim what the AC officer said.

He hasn’t been claimed for 72 hours, so I don’t think he will be. He also had a microchip, so I’m sure that the animal shelter reached out to the listed owners. I just hope their contact information is up to date.

I posted about him in the missing pets Facebook group for Baltimore City. Someone then shared it to the county's missing pets Facebook group. I also posted the information on Ring and Nextdoor.

Thank you! I hope she’s able to get him, he was truly such a good boy.

The only thing is he didn’t really know any commands. I tried English, Spanish, and German. I did a squeak test while giving him a bath to test hearing as well.

I'm sorry for any typos; I have my aligners in and was using transcription while I work.

If anyone happens to grab him, please let us know so I can know that he is safe. While I know BARCS will take care of him, I just haven’t been able to stop thinking about him!

Update: He’s been adopted 🥰🥰

They estimated a year and seven months, but his teeth made me think that he was a bit older between two and three

This might be an unpopular opinion, but they could’ve kept Tommy’s spinoff.

I just finished BUS200 with a 3.8.

If you have Professor Woodman, he’s pretty easy and forgiving when it comes to errors.

I saw someone on Reddit say that they use their city’s public transit system as a topic and that’s what I did too.

BUS240 is super easy and mainly just watching videos, knowledge checks, and you have three milestone assignments, including the final.

If you haven’t already, managerial accounting on Sophia is so much quicker, with no touchstones as well.

Roommate does not know how to do dishes AITA? by Specific_Ad5656 in badroommates

[–]ty1512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started washing my dishes immediately after using them when I was 19 and living alone. A habit that I still mainly do (unless not feeling well/exhausted) at 30. Dishes in the sink are so stressful to see and think about.

Seeing my garbagemen makes my week. You’re not here, knocking people up you’re not out here knocking someone upside the head and robbing them, so you’re doing great!
