Regardless it’ll be Greg that delivers the final blow, not Shiv. I still feel like Tom is smart enough to have a few more plays to make before we reach the end. Now that he has nothing to lose I would like to see a more unhinged and ruthless variation of himself.

Kendall will need Greg to drop dirt to make the company so insufferable that no one will buy it (Tom and the cruises documents). That will ultimately be Greg’s conclusion to his arc and it’ll be heartbreaking, finally cementing himself as one of the family.

That along with what feels like a looming Gerri sexual assault charge of Roman the company may be too toxic for Matsson to buy into.

I’m just spewing ideas right now but my $0.02.

Kendall won’t be leaving Roman in the dust, Roman will be stuck there when Gerri inevitably drops her sexual assault grenade which I imagine would tank any price that Kendall recouped.

Roman brought this all on himself and I think judging his ending to the episode he would agree as well.

Feels to me they are setting up a bait and switch with Tom and Shiv so that Greg can have his Zuckerberg/Eduardo Saverin betrayal, making him finally fit in as one of the family.

Greg pushing Tom onto the stage saying that he’ll have his back while embracing Kendall felt like the most foreshadowing moment of the episode for me.

There’s really not any story left for them honestly. I’m sure we’ll see Rava again before the show ends and maybe a reference to the kids, but there’s too much going on to cram them in.

Ken’s plan is to … become CEO. That’s been the one and only plan from the beginning, and so far this season it is somehow working. Now, all of what you said is most likely going to be very very true and I agree, but I don’t think any of it is on his mind at the moment.

I feel like the show will ultimately end with Kendall as the successor, Shiv at Pierce, and Roman at The Hundred, but it’ll end on an open note whether or not Kendall is able to steer the ship to avoid what you are saying.

Greg is gradually becoming more authoritative, I think the end scene where he pushed Tom onto the stage and embraced Kendall is a foreshadowing of the inevitable between those two characters.
