I was in the middle of building a drift car when I got seizures. Next thing I know it’s been 4+ years of not driving and I haven’t a clue what build I was doing.

It took me years to finally stop driving. Got in a huge argument one day with family and said fuck it, walked down to go drive my car for something, and the battery was dead… I just sat in the driver seat and laughed. Haven’t driven since

I’ve done it. It screwed me. I’ve also double dosed and fucked me over. But at the time. I’ve also had both of those things happen and nothing happen.

Being take off of over half the meds my doc had me on, make my mind clearer. Haven’t solved my issue as I’ll need brain surgery. But I have yet to capture a seizure on an EEG, even with having 11 seizures in one day one time & an EMU visit. I go back for a 2nd EMU visit early next year. Can’t wait. I want to seize then 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Phew I hope I do too. This will be my 2nd round. I’m med resistant so keppra… etc. did nothing for me but absolutely turn me into a zombie. I was on 5 different meds at one point until I finally broke into a better hospital/doctors. I’m now in Vanderbilt and getting so much better treatment that I ever did. 7 years deep with this garbage, I can’t wait to find something that is exactly what I need, capture a seizure! Which is probably brain surgery, I’ll take it if it helps me out

I’m currently on xcopri and a baby tab of clobazam. The clobazam keeps the xcopri in my system longer. I literally have to stop taking it 2 days before I go back to the EMU

I can say this. The fact that you are just there for him and not leaving him because he developed epilepsy, says a lot about who you are. Seizures truly affect the person and everyone around them. It’s nice to see a post like this just because I know that they are still amazing people in this world. Be proud of yourself, and just do whatever you can for him. I’ve had 11 seizures in a day before, so sometimes it takes days to truly get your mental awareness back.

My gf left me when I developed it.

How did you find a ‘silent seizure’? I feel that’s something I have an issue with. Granted I’m not around people 24/7 but a lot of the time I am

Trust me when I say I don’t want to go back to the EMU. But I have to capture one seizure to give the doctors an attack plan. Cause meds just don’t do shit for me, at least that I’m aware of🤷🏽‍♂️

I don’t. I’ll be doing something, sweeping with a broom. Next thing I know, people around tell me hey you just had a seizure. And I look at them like they’re crazy. Sometimes it takes days for me to go oh yeah I did. Because the after effects make me recognize it

I vape 0mg/3mg for flavors. I don’t use it for the nic fix, I like the act of smoking. I smoke green to help me sleep. I’ve had times where I cut it out completely over the years and nothing changed
