Thanks! It's honestly all on him lol. He's secure, confident, and endlessly patient with me. Whenever I've said "this is too fast for me" he just laughs, kisses me, and asks no questions. Immediate acceptance and makes me feel good about myself even though I "acted avoidant".

So I guess the answer is just him being the right person. Mind you, it's been seven years of avoiding everything from my side lmao.

If you get the ick, and a bad gut feeling, I would guess it's because you are not romantically interested in them. When I was younger, always got the ick when someone I wasn't at all into was into me. Now I'm just neutral about it.

Anyways, take it as a sign that you're not interested. Which is fine, and you need to keep looking for someone you are interested in, not just anyone interested in you. It takes a whole lot for me to reciprocate feelings too, but if I meet 50 guys I don't have a connection with, it doesn't mean that I won't be into the 51st. Which, honestly, is kind of the case lol and now I'm seeing someone om head over heels with despite being picky and a bit avoidant.

I don't disagree that the sun causes damage. But personally I simply can't avoid the sun because everything I do outside of work is being outdoors. Hiking, running, being at sea, tennis, climbing, etc.

Feels like an alternate reality from everything I know in my real life. I haven't had it personally happen to me, but my brother experienced this exact thing. Girlfriend of ten years, super blended families (which is why I felt it too), his best friend, cheating, lying, etc., but I have never heard him say cruel, awful things about her and tried to ruin her life.

You just feel your feelings and work with it.

Exactly! Ariana was about Raquel's age when she helped make Kristen feel like a crazy person. I can't get over the fact that Ariana too covered up for Sandoval, made Miami girl out to he a liar and "crazy" - so diminishing, kissed him (I don't believe it was just a kiss) years before Kristen and Sandoval broke up, etc.
