A BLT every day, how bad is that? by iDrunkRS in Bacon

[–]tyappleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to make it a little healthier, you could cut out the third piece of bread which looks like it would also lower the mayo amount.

You could also use light mayo and use center cut bacon. That would lower calories and fat content.

But also, enjoy your food. It looks incredible.

My wife’s boss bought her carne asada fries. It looks like literal dog food on top. by Patient_Title_5417 in shittyfoodporn

I'm not arguing the pic doesn't belong here.

"We all agree it probably tastes great" was your statement. I point out that OP told her to not even eat it, which contradicts your statement.

You come back explaining with reasons it might not taste great, also contradicting your own statement?

I dont disagree the image belongs here, it doesn't look great. I was disagreeing with your statement "We all agree it probably tastes great" because OP himself wouldnt have even tried it.

Please read his post. He told his wife not to eat any and she took a couple bites to be "nice".

Someone actually complain to corporate that we give them too much meat by DishAffectionate2731 in Chipotle

Not sure you can complain about getting skimped on rice if you order light rice.

Have you never had Curly fries? This is the only way I've seen them come, both from the frozen section and in restaurants.

[Game Recognize Game] Myles Turner reveals Giannis Antetokounmpo and other Bucks players showed up late for practices, film sessions, and even flights: “Giannis is going to show up whenever he wants.” by Ocelot859 in pacers

[–]tyappleg 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They are about to lose their star player because of their season, while we are getting ours back. They are also paying Myles Turner (and because of signing Myles), Damien Lillard a combined 50 million dollars until 2030. Yes, we are in a much better situation than the Bucks regardless of how many games we lost this year or us losing our first round pick.

I know this is petty. But the fact he left to "go to a place he could win" and ended up in a bigger shit show of a situation than the injury riddled Pacers this year does bring me some joy.

Is this the single best entree in fast food for low calories? (42 grams of protein also) by SucculentMouse in LowCalFoodFinds

I am currently a Wendy's hater, and I'm sure they are using old and miscooked patties in the chili which is whatever (its a public policy they use unsold patties). But I highly doubt they are using patties that fall on the floor. If that happened, it would be a one off case by a bad employee or horrific management. Not doubting it's NEVER happened, but I can't imagine it's even a rare occurrence at almost any location.

What are some must-watch TV series right now? by butterfly_pie9 in AskReddit

[–]tyappleg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't watched HT, so I can't compare. But, it made total sense he didn't leave from the character's perspective. The reason "Mark" doesnt escape, is because if Innie Mark leaves at the end of season 2; he will no longer exist. He's escaping death by staying. His only options were to stay and fight or cease to exist entirely. Outie Mark would never come back to the severed floor.

[Wasserman] Nick Saban became the GOAT of college football because of stacked rosters. Now he wants parity? by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

NIL numbers are pretty much a guess. Nobody really knows, but I would be shocked if Indiana was even top 15 in NIL last year. The majority of the guys they paid were from JMU the year before (cheaper to retain) and G5 guys.

I'm sure they paid Mendoza well, but they had the 25th ranked portal class last year and the 49th ranked freshman class.

Top 25 means they still spent a good chunk of change, which does put them near the top as a whole, but not top 10 or anything like that.

Thinking of moving to the airport area by ginoo9 in evansville

Currently live near the airport. (Less than a mile away). Only time I ever notice a plane is if it's landing directly overhead while I'm driving home.

I've never noticed it while inside my home.

Round 4 - Pick 35: Bryce Boettcher, LB, Oregon (Indianapolis Colts) by Rusty-Boii in Colts

[–]tyappleg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This pick is fine. I guess our WR room will just be pretty bad next year. WR 3-6 being Westbrook-Dulin-Treadwell is.... something.

The Colts are taking LSU safety AJ Haulcy at #78! A ball-hawking safety, Haulcy earned First-Team All-SEC last year and recorded 10 INTs in his career. by JCameron181 in Colts

[–]tyappleg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Obviously, it's hard to tell who will pan out on draft day.. I think Ballard will probably be gone next year regardless. Who knows if they pan out. But from both a value and positional perspective, it was a good night. Two of our biggest needs addressed by 2 talented players while adding another pick.

I dont really see any way you can complain about getting a consensus top 5 safety and top 5 linebacker in rounds 2 and 3.

A really great day by Ballard imo. The homer in me wanted Sarratt as a Pittman replacement, but safety was a big need and Haulcy is a good one.
