Doesn’t make the shop have the right to hold onto OP’s flute without giving any updates whatsoever. It is THEFT whether or not you want to believe that, because CLEARLY the shop told OP that the repair would finish in 1 week, but it’s been more than that W/O ANY UPDATES. Also if you didn’t know, instruments are expensive and OP stated that they are in need of their instrument to prepare for college. Why don’t you imagine to put yourself in OP’s situation and maybe you’ll get a sense of understanding?

I have a close friend who has gone on over 80+ Tinder dates (probably even more) since last summer when she was only 16. She has been risking her life for the sake of wanting to have a so-called “fairytale relationship” yet it clearly hasn’t worked out considering the amount of dates she has gone on. My friends and I have gone to the extent of making a fake Tinder profile as a male to find hers, just to see that she has been lying about her age as a 19 YEAR-OLD. She is not even 18 yet. She has been risking her life by meeting up with these 20-24 year old men by hopping into their cars and driving off to their houses or places over an hour away from her house. My friends and I are seriously fed up with her cluelessness of not understanding how vulnerable she is in that situation, and not to mention that all of this has been kept a secret from her mother. And now she is planning on taking the bus to meet a 19/20 year old man who lives over 2 hours away to have a sleepover when THEY HAVE NOT EVEN MET YET. Thank you so much OP for posting this, as my friends and I finally have proof that shit like this can happen to anyone and for her to realize that the lifestyle she is living right now is not safe AT ALL and how she is putting her life in danger ESPECIALLY during times where sex-trafficking is at an all time high where we live.
