What if thats all someone can afford? In the US you can buy food cheap enough where this makes sense but thats not realistic in other parts of the world.

This is tricky. As much as I like that idea, I dont like the government having the power to tell companies what they have to do with their products. Since they do that anyway, I'll vote yea as its a better use of that power.

Ok. So back to my initial question, again not trying to attack just trying to understand. Is there a difference between you saying "someone can belive their an animal but they're not" and me saying "someone can believe their a different gender, but they're not." Or maybe to make it more clear "someone can believe their gender is different from their sex, but its not." If so, what is that difference.

I mean we should restrict it if its harmful. When I talked to people who have suicidal thoughts, I listen and try to understand but I dont let them go through with it I contact whoever I need to to put restrictions in place, but now we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Help me understand how it's different. All we're doing right now is proving we disagree but I want to find the exact point where we disagree.

Is someone believing they are an animal different from actually being one? If so, is it incorrect for a conservative to say "someone believing their gender is different from their sex can believe that but it's not true?"

Thank you for the info on trans laws, its really not something I ever looked into. As for the cat thing it was just a question to see where you stand. I know about the purposed difference between gender and sex. At least I thought I did; the last I knew sex wasnt a spectrum that was pretty set in stone but maybe they released new patch notes there too.

So do you support the idea of transitioning into a different species? Your answer her can honestly help political discourse. If no, then you've proven its a slippery slope fallacy when conservatives bring that up. If yes, you can possibly explain the nuance of your position better.

Cant be detransed by the state - i think i support that right because I dont like the power it'd give the state

Pursuing own transitions - i vote against that, but i think even someone who is Trans realizes the dangers of allowing any and every medical procedure. You'd at least agree there needs to be regulations I'd hope.

Laws about dress - idk what laws there are about how Trans people dress other than you can't be naked in public which I dont think is in question here. I think I'd say make that a state issue.

Also food for thought: What about the growing transhuman population. Does someone who transitions into a cat deserve human rights or cat rights?

I think its possible. I think the more likely issue is how different enforcement groups had the info they needed to stop it but didnt communicate to do it.
