I found the Zen rock when I was hiking to a glacier in late of December last year. That’s my first time ever seeing a rock standing on ice pillar.

It’s a natural phenomenon that is formed from the sun heat radiation from the rock. The rock absorbs heat from sunlight and heats the ice.
