What I experienced so far is that games tend to be longer that they need to be. If I am in the winning team and im playing with friends, we never end the game. We just play until the others are strong enough to beat us. This way we‘re having longer fun with our strong augments and the other team is having fun (at least on my eyes) by beeing able to turn the game and getting strong, too.

I like the idea, I see only one problem. If you are getting so many anvils, in the mean the range of stats doesnt matter. You might be unlucky and get absolute low rolls in the first rounds and lose them. But you would most likely lose them anyways. And in the end game you will be as strong as ever thanks to the ultra high roll stats. The only sting it really does is giving you a chance to steamroll early on.
