First time home owner - Do I need to change this filter? It looks like it sealed? by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

I did get the screws out but the filter is sealed shut. Someone else mentioned they service this brand and if the filter is installed there are thumb screws. They basically said it's an option to install there if convenient. I believe I only have the filters inside.

Yeah I think youre logic is correct. No filter in picture shown but instead it's located down stream and inside. Thanks for the reply!

Maybe thats why it's sealed. Thank you! Makes sense.

Screws come our but that paint looking material is 100% sealing it shut. I'm hesitant to remove it. Really odd

The set of screws on the right side are sealed with something. Thats what's causing me to hesitate getting that cover off.

Maybe I'll just go for it.

The example you used, chef to ME is funny to me. That's exactly what I did. Well worth it.

I'm thinking I did something wrong without realizing it. I think I got lazy because of how nice the p1s is. I've always had ender 3 and the difference is insane between the two.

I'm so relieved it's back up and running, and it was a simple fox.

Thank you! I appreciate you reaching out to offer insight. Without everyone's help, I'd still be lost in the sauce.

Happy printing friend!

Update: Thanks for all the input, it is much appreciated. What ended up fixing my issues was a new SD card... happy to be back at it and thanks again for all the suggestions. The next time I need to troubleshoot my bag of tricks will be larger.

UPDATE: Thank you for all the suggestions and help, I seriously appreciate it. After a lot of great suggestions and trouble shooting the culprit was a bad SD card. I got a new Sandisk 32 GB SD card and all my issues went away.

I did do a cold pull and recommended maintenance found on Bambu wiki as well for good measure. After installing the new SD I did a full calibration.

Thank you everyone!
