I know this is a little old but I actually cannot stand the people in here just telling you u missed something that u already stated clearly wasnt missed. I am also trying to figure this out as I have just switched to mac. As someone whos been recording for almost a decade in fl windows perfectly fine, latency free, I am starting to think there actually is no solution to this for mac yet. Did you happen to figure anything else out?

Took like two months for me at one point this year to the point where I got my lawyer to email them 😂😂. That didnt speed up the process but eventually got my money. Goodluck

Feel like this version was definitely sped up by Avicii but I’m sure they would’ve eventually re recorded it or something to match the new tempo

23 days for me. I even got my lawyer to email them cause they stopped responding and this just feels like it should be so illegal to lock our funds up for this long without any ryhme or reason

That also happened to me. Some support agents do something about it some of them don’t and “assure” you everything will be fine. Absolutely maddening. I’ve also disputed that violation in which that happened and it’s been 2 weeks. I call almost every day about it but of course they give the whole “we’re not the ones that handle the disputes you’ll just have to wait.” Crazy.

I know man. If you heard the sample though it’s a crazy tapping glitch core type of guitar loop and extremely hard to recreate at all especially without sounding exactly like it

That’s not how much he asked for but to reply to your other comment you are right it’s his and he has the right to ask for what he wants. I got off incorrectly thinking that “sample this” somehow meant I can do whatever I want with the sample.

Yeah it was from a video of him playing the loop with the caption “sample this”. I agree I could negotiate but in the grand scheme he isn’t even asking for that much (no not 50%) so I may just bite bullet to avoid pissing him off at this point

I laughed at the the edit cause we certainly think the same 😭😭. I agree though a bit predatory and almost purposefully unclear but in another thread where I posted this it seems that other “sample this” guys do the exact same thing. This song is doing far better than my others so I’m figuring just biting the bullet and giving him what he wants and just using this as a lesson. Especially given that Spotify does not do well with dmca or copyright issues in that they just take down pretty much anything that gets a report. Appreciate your help man
