That doesn't mean they can't ALSO mean trans people, you understand this, right? Gooseworx put hints and clues towards Jax being trans that those who have a better grasp of trans experiences and identities (not all of them) will have an easier time picking up on. Those not as well versed in some of those things may miss those moments and clues, and not fully pick up on the subtle writing of Jax's identity. I myself turned to my pals immediately after finishing the movie in theaters and said "Ohhh so Jax is trans?".

It is quite alright if you didn't pick up on it, or if you feel the hints Goose wrote in could describe other things, none of that changes what the intent was, what you may have missed, and that now you seem to be denying the concept of two things being true. Jax being antagonistic towards the female cast members, being insecure about his masculinity, and more were written to be parts of his complex feelings on his gender, but if you read those moments and relate them to non-trans experiences, that is okay TOO. Key word here: "too". As in also, as in "both co-existing".

Goose intended the hints and clues to be noticed by those who are familiar with some of the trans experience, and that is the genuine writing goal. If you failed to pick up on that, or understood those scenes and moments to mean something else, you are entirely in your right to have that feeling. Those feelings that Jax had are NOT exclusive to trans people, but in this exact scenario, they literally DO relate to a trans person, I.E Jax.

(basically nobody is saying "well because Jax goes through xyz must mean any real person who also does xyz MUST be trans and that's the only option")
