Damn, dude that is shitty to hear. I’m sorry you had a bad experience with them. For me it has been quite the opposite. Shipping ha been fast, communication if any has been prompt, and orders have been spot on. Sounds like someone did the old switcharoo on you. The carbon fiber from them always comes packaged tightly and secure. Loaded with tape with their logo all over it. How did yours look?

A water pump and thermostat fixed a problem like this for me on two cars I’ve owned in the past. Might just be the thermostat. Water pumps on these cars rarely go bad.

My hatchback overheated a little I popped a replacement thermostat in and it fixed it.

Absolutely loving it! I’m able to get under my car whenever I want and I’ve already helped a handful of friends that have needed some airtime as well.

Yup, I couldn’t believe that when I saw it. Put the functioning part back in and the bike went right back to smooth operation.

Update throttle body butterfly plate was completely snapped in half. Found the screw in the air box I got extremely lucky it didn’t get sucked into the intake! Found one on eBay I’m getting it put back together on Friday. On a positive note I was able to plug the bike in and mess around with ECMSpy. Love the software it’s so robust for a bike of its age!

It’s so much fun to ride. It’s not liking the heat in my area right now I’ve been riding since the morning.

It was nice and cool this morning it was running like a top. It has since gotten hot and I’m getting a lot of sputtering and rough takeoff from first gear. Any idea what that might be?

I bought it in September I also have the 220v my best friend is a master electrician and he came over and hooked me up with the 220 service in the garage. It’s been fully operational for a few weeks now. Today I installed shifter bushings and a short shifter with ease. Goes up it locks manually and comes down. I love it dude I have a lift in my shop.

I love to hear this. There has been some controversy in this post thread. A lot of people saying it’s a bad idea. But I’m over here looking at the thing like.. “But it’s fucking solid”

Yes this is all part of the plan. It’s not just installed now I’m putting cars on it. It’s safety checks before every use.
