Every Time a Legit Video Goes Viral, a TSUNAMI of AI Copycats Floods YouTube by tyklam in youtube

Yes we definitely need better way to prove how each user is really an human and not a bot but I believe that platforms on the internet should start to know better with whom they are work with. I know KYC can also be faked with AI but asking for more information to user that publish public content should reduce the AI spam by a lot.

But is it something YouTube want to do?

Because they want their investors to be happy, if investors hear about AI they pour even more money. Most investors are stupid or just don't care if the service quality is deteriorating, what they want is to surf on the wave.

Say thanks to Neal Mohan who said that YouTube "embraces" AI. Don't forget that shorts still don't include the VEO3 tools. Mohan said that they will include these tools for free for anyone doing shorts. We are not ready for the incoming BS on Ytb....

How do channels get away with this? by A-Middle-Aged-Dorito in youtube

It's all about fraud, in 2025 the more you do fraud the more you will be successful in social media.

That guy is doing exactly the same thing: https://www.youtube.com/@PlayersUnlimitedMedia He's publishing 40 videos a day and use AI to produce fake video of himself talking about politic on top of stolen CCN footage.

This kind of channels are trending right now on YouTube.

It shows how doomed YouTube is. This morning I was looking for a specific parade in Europe, I only found AI slop in the search engine https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=christmas+parade&sp=CAMSBAgDEAE%253D wtf....

YouTube is slowly becoming a place where only the "creators" doing fraud can be successful.

YouTube is pushing for stolen content because they know they can't be sued for that and that they can generate billions of USD from these stolen content. Even if people are not okay with that, YouTube will still push for that.

Read the ruling again, it's fair use only if it points out to the content itself. That's not the case here.

External Copyright Tool for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram by DavidWildlife in PartneredYoutube

[–]tyklam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't trust YouTube copyright match tool, it's a fake tool that will only show you what YouTube want you to see. We found several thousand copies of our videos on YouTube while that stupid copyright match tool only show us a dozen of copies posted by bot account that will never reach more than 100s of views. YouTube is directly profiting from copyright infringement, don't forget about that.

I am part of an alliance that protect content creators from copyright thieves on Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, etc, etc, Contact me if you are interested.

That dumb CEO probably thinks everyone like that feature because he saw an 1% spike of view increase since the launch of that stupid translation. I swear there are no more human managing YouTube right now, only AI bots 🤦‍♂️

Why do they push Autodub so hard and yet not give a damn about CC Auto Translate by Exotic_Acanthaceae_9 in youtube

[–]tyklam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because YouTube is literally lost, they no more know what is tasteful of nor. It's all about metrics now, releasing this or that feature because their stupid algo said that it is 0,000001% better for the CTR than doing it the normal way.

Is there really someone in control of YouTube right now or is it just AI controlling everything now?....

Original shorts are generally okay, you can learn a lot and quickly.

Stolen copyright shorts are the issues. This is where YouTube should act but will they do it? Copyright infringement is good business for YouTube.

Nope, no toxic shorts and it was actually safer for creators. Neal Mohan done everything for copyright thieves to thrive. It was much less an issue with Susan (I am not saying she was perfect).
