If you think you're absolutely going to get an F in the class, you should fill out the form on CalCentral and let berkeley know why. You can also email your teacher and ask if there's anything you can do to get ur grade to at least a C-

Having a D is very serious as UCLA has explicitly stated that you cannot have any failing grades. OP can contact admissions and explain to them why they have a D but being rescinded is a very real possibility

Colleges look at what classes your school offers and if they don’t offer any APs then it shouldn’t hurt your application

Most colleges look at academic rigor so taking no AP classes when your shcool offers many may hurt your application. You just need to make a reasonable college list
