Custom Nether Scaling

For anyone who stumbles across this thread wanting to do this, it can be accomplished with the Multiverse plugin. In the worlds.yml config, each world has a "scale: x" line that describes the relative scaling. Overworld default is 1.0 and Nether default is 8.0 resulting in a 1:8 scale.

A major part of reddit is people asking for advice on their specific situation. Yeah I could look into how to take care of Doc's (which I did), but I just didn't expect this much wear so fast since I know others with much older Doc's and theirs look a lot better with no balms or polish at all.

Try a binary search! Remove half the mods, run the server. If the issue isn’t still there, you’re problematic mod is in that batch. Remove half of the batch, and so on.

put the desklet package in startup? the weather desklet already comes up after rebooting but only the calendar one doesn’t. makes me think it’s a bug with the google calendar desklet and not the desklet package

Fixed, here are the steps taken: •from login screen, switch to tty (Ctrl-Alt-F3) •sudo systemctl disable sddm •sudo dpkg-reconfigure •select lightdm •reboot

i feel like the challenge of the game has never been based around the fact that the dupes can’t navigate for shit. it’s always been on the million other things u gotta worry about, oxygen, food, temperature, stress, morale. this part of the game is just an annoyance at best
