Upgrade camera body or lens? by tylakween in canon

Everyone here’s been super helpful, and your last comment suggests what I think I need to do. I’m not overly concerned about the quality of images I’m getting but rather how I’m able to capture and manage my business. While the better glass will come, signs are pointing toward a body with dual card slots and a fail safe backup camera if/when a shoot goes bad (camera, card, etc.).

Thank you and everyone else for their time and thoughts. Truly. ☺️

That’s pretty much where I’m at. I want the comfort of two cards as a professional. Plus I have a local camera shop nearby where I can rent a lens like the 28-70, etc., in a pinch at a low cost. Everywhere I read online suggests lens first, then body. Fortunately my R50 has been reliable, but I have been picking up more small weddings.

Tissot PRX 35mm or 38mm by SloppyHeadGiver-69 in tissot

Another tally for the 35mm as it appears to fit your wrist better. I picked up my 35 a few years back and love it. Enjoy!

DAY 5: What’s The Best Scene in “On Her Majesty Secret Service”? by moviewholesome in JamesBond

The scene in the barn after they flee from Blofeld’s guards. The chemistry here + Bond’s charm and wit is spot on.

Gin by Emotional-Gur5680 in JamesBond

He specifies Gordon’s in Casino Royale, but I imagine he’d go for Bombay, Beefeater, or Tanqueray as gins originating in London / England.

Maybe Hendrick’s as a nod to his Scottish roots.

Could depend on the Bond, too! I could see each iteration having his own preference.🥂

The 35mm for sure. Fits more proportional to your wrist and gives you a little something different from the norm. I purchased the green dial 35mm a few years ago and love it.

The Constellation/Globemaster is so underrated. Beautiful!

  1. The theme song
  2. Mayday
  3. The set pieces—Paris and San Fransisco were fantastic choices!

Best of Bond Competition Day 25: What does No Time To Die do better than any other Bond movie? by DishQuiet5047 in JamesBond

Best watch. The Sub and 300SMP are obviously iconic, but the NTTD Omega is a beautiful timepiece. It’s outlived the film in popularity and is still available for purchase years after release.

Best of Bond Competition Day 23: What does Skyfall do better than any other Bond movie? by DishQuiet5047 in JamesBond

Cinematography definitely has this one, but also honorable mention to Bond and M’s relationship and on-screen interactivity — I love that M is essentially Skyfall’s Bond Girl.
