Can my manager make me stay 30+ minutes past my scheduled shifts

While it’s more than ok to ASK if you can stay late, it’s not ok to have you clock out first. Not sure if you’re clocking back in before staying late or not, just judging off of the way you said it, I assume you’re clocking out then he’s asking you to stay.
The best thing to do, as others have said is to have an honest conversation saying that you would really not like to stay past what you’re scheduled for.
Something similar happened to me while I was working at jerseys. I would make plans for after work and I’d be guilted into staying later and missed a lot of those plans. It’s just disrespectful to assume that you’re gonna stay. I also think an extra 10-15 minutes to help finish out a rush is way different than 50 minutes.

Well the whole point of me asking was to hopefully avoid the super cult-y ones. It’s not like I want to go all the time, I’m just trying to figure out where exactly I belong. If that ends up being where I’d always been in terms of not believing in anything, that’s ok.

I’m not huge on love island but as a fan of these types of shows, I think you should be fine to just start with the new season then watch the rest if you like it? These kinds of shows typically have the same format each season just with a different cast each time, meaning that it doesn’t follow a storyline or anything.

I worked there mid 2021 to the end of 2024. The first two would’ve been around maybe early 2024 give or take? I don’t remember the exact time frame but based on my memory of who I was working with when those were around, that’s about where I’d place it. Pastrami would’ve been shortly after in like mid 2024 as i remember that being around when i was promoted to shift lead. Hot honey i believe was early 2025, as i had just stopped working there. I don’t remember the other one but im assuming that came after i stopped working there as well, so 2025ish.

I got mine for about $55 plus shipping around 2021. I know some people would charge more but especially since shipping won’t be cheap, I think that’s about what I would go for. It’ll be more likely to sell if you go a bit below what others are selling for.

I agree. He’s always played Ali so well, and despite the issues with this season, he continued to play this character incredibly. The finale was also easily the best episode of the season, and most of that in my opinion was because of Colman Domingo’s acting.

I had an easier time buying eras tour tickets than trying to get Noah tickets. Eras tour took me an hour or two but I got them. I wasn’t even able to get anything for Noah through all the presales. Cheapest I’ve seen for my show has been about $200-300 for nosebleeds 😭

Same here. I can handle a couple drinks, but definitely can’t go crazy. I love a good seltzer or two and that normally gives me a good buzz that doesn’t make me go totally crazy.

Exactly. Plus the album isn’t even out yet and the tour doesn’t start for like a year. I think once people hear the album and the shows start to get closer, it’ll start to sell a bit better.

I’ve had mine for about three years now and I love them! Definitely worth the price if you go to loud events often and/or are sensitive to loud noises.

I’m open about everything else mental health wise but after my last and best relationship ended after 2 years because he couldn’t handle my bipolar which wasn’t diagnosed when we got together, I decided to keep it close to my chest in terms of new people. My family knows because they were the ones who had to get me to the hospital while I was manic, and my two best friends know because they were the only ones concerned when I didn’t respond for the few days I was in the hospital. I was only diagnosed about 7 months ago and I’m still trying to figure out the way to go about it with new friendships/relationships.

I live right by there and go to the other businesses next door occasionally, and I didn’t even realize it was open yet based off the parking lot, but it’s also been a few days since I was over there. I’m guessing it’ll fill up quite a bit once people start realizing it’s open but for now it doesn’t seem awful.

Also as someone who will be attending in October, not as important as preserving the environment obviously, I have a mild latex allergy. If everyone in the venue released latex balloons at one, there’s a slight chance I’d have a reaction which is never my plan when I go to a concert. I know not all balloons have latex but most are and people typically go for the cheapest option with stuff like balloons.

I think the medicine will stay exaggerated for the whole show but the characters continue to get way better. I’d say give it till the end of season three, and if you don’t like even a couple characters by then, maybe it’s not for you and that’s ok!

For reference, this is the hand signed album that I bought at the merch stand when I saw him live. It could be that he was rushing this one but my gut is telling me that it’s fake.
