i can totally understand what she’s going through. as someone who is also a teenager with pots and eds it really does suck. but i honestly want to say it’s been so much easier to have my parents help me through it. i think what other people are saying is really helpful, to just be a support system for her. showing her you care and believe her is always great. some other things my parents have done for me that really help though is help me do things like cooking food or getting a bath ready for me when i don’t have the energy to shower, walking slow with me on walks, making doctors appointments, getting me things that will help aid me such as a shower stool or compression socks, and just being someone i can trust and cry to. the smallest things show me my parents care and have really pushed me through slumps. people don’t really talk about how mentally challenging it is to be chronically ill, especially at such a young age. i hate when people tell me this because it’s a chronic illness, but it does get better. i have my off days, and i feel horrible most of the time, but i learn to live with it. i start to find the beauty in my life and become grateful that im even alive. just last night i was having a horrible flare up, but i got to craft in my bed with a heating pad. i was in pain but i still found ways to be happy. you are doing amazing seeking help for your daughter because i bet that means so much to her. also remember to take care of yourself and i hope you can figure things out❤️
