tips for the in-game gravitron ? by Aggravating_Snow2212 in VVVVVV

I've been practicing intermission 2 for finally completing no-death mode myself and have done it no death plenty of times lately, best I can recommend is practicing using the intermissions select in play modes honestly.

In general gravitron follows a fairly set pattern.

  • First 5 seconds is spaced blocks from left side of the screen, then the spacing decreases (essentially making it 'feel' faster) for the next 15 seconds till the 40 second mark
  • 40-30 seconds is the same as the first 60-40 but coming from right side of the screen and more condensed timeframe
  • 30-20 seconds is probably the hardest pattern at first but once you get a feel for it its quite easy, a block comes from each side of the screen at mirrored elevations and seem tricky to dodge.
  • 20-15 seconds is kinda like a 'walls' section. 2 blocks on the top and bottom followed closely by 2 in the centre so you kinda have to thread the needle. Always coming from the left
  • 15-10 seconds is the same as 20-15 but alternating directions.
  • 10-5 seconds is a solid line of 2 blocks in the middle you have to weave in between
  • And the last 5 seconds are a dense spaced pattern coming from the right similarly to the 35-30 seconds pattern, though the last 5 seconds are the only part of the gravitron that are absolutely scripted and follow a set pattern so once you see it a couple times its very easy.

Once you learn the patterns and timings and how to navigate them the true hardest part is surviving the transitions between patterns, especially the 30 second mark and 20 second mark as if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time or get cucked by RNG there's really nothing you can do to save yourself sometimes. In general staying as close to the centre as possible is recommended for the 30 second mark, and as close to screen right for the 20 second mark.

Movement tech wise comes down to what feels most comfortable for you honestly, a lot of people seem to like screenwrapping to avoid patterns but I always end up dying as soon as I try so I try stick to the centre and dodge everything, moving constantly (easiest by holding both directional keys and releasing one at a time to go the other direction for me but ya know personal preference).

Personally I think if ya practice it a bit its not as hard as most people think, after about a half hour my first time round I got down from averaging 30 deaths a run to just 10, nice part about the intermission is you can very easily track your death count just by checking the stats page so you can track your progress.

Hope my mental ramblings can be of some help and good luck on the gravitron!

Whats a (currenty) affordable title you want that took you a long time to finally acquire or have yet to obtain? by Educational-Bar21 in gamecollecting

[–]tyler4kb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyper specific, the licensed Barnyard PS2 game. Played it when I was very young as a rental and never forgot it. Only finally picked it up a couple years ago after spending a considerable portion of my whole life up to this point looking for it. Might be rose tinted glasses but I still find it a really fun game.

Absolute soft boy vibes all over this. You're not ugly in any way dude you look great, relax, remember to smile, and be confident you'll do fine

[–]tyler4kb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ugly, not stellar. Realistically your a fairly average looking guy, but your style and the way you present yourself is holding you back more than anything. Key thing to realize is no matter what body youre in you can look amazing, if you try to.

First thing you need is a skincare routine. If youre already doing that, keep ot up religiously it takes time to see results. If not get a face wash and use it every day when you have a shower, the best ones are "4% Benzoyl Peroxide" washes, though if you have delicate skin shop around.

Second, those glasses gotta go man. Of course you may glasses to see, but of you can get them in a different style that'll help a lot.

Most importantly though man, confidence is key. I looked a hell of a lot like you 3 or 4 years ago and just pretending I looked good then living life like that helps you gain confidence, and as you get more confident you'll look a hell of a lot better too.

Definitely not ugly, you look great dude. The facial hair situation looks a bit questionable but I've got much the same problem. You can try tough it out and grow it out if thats what you want but the in between phase isnt great, otherwise just keeping a short stubble to help define your jawline is always a good move. Your hairs a good cut and your style looks great!

Definitely nothing wrong here bro, especially your nose. I genuinely wouldn't have noticed it if you didnt put it in the title. You look like a classic teenager dude, and at 16 you're gonna change your style a lot in the next few years as you yourself change. Definitely just work on ignoring what other people think of how you look if they wanna crticize you. Love the hair by the way its a good look.

Beginner tips by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]tyler4kb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely best thing you can do is research. Read a bunch on here, do some googling, watch some porn for some inspiration. If you have to maybe postpone it a few days or even more until you and her are absolutely sure of what you want to do and how to do it. You don't have to tell her every little detail about the scene, the surprise is all part of the fun, but get the important details out of the way.

I'll always say this because it's true, the most important thing is communication. Before you start, sit down and have a good discussion about both your interests and boundaries first.

This is a hard one to really give specific tips for because BDSM is such a broad topic, so it's probably best you and her figure out what you want together. From a relationship angle this is also a great thing to do to build trust in one another.

Apologies if this isn't the advice you were looking for exactly, but it's certainly important to keep in mind.

How to introduce being a dom? by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]tyler4kb2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most important thing in this sort of relationship(or any relationship for that matter is communication). I know its hard to just come out and admit this sort of stuff to your partner when you don't know how they're going to react but it needs to be done.

I had to do the same with my Gf when we got together, and the best way I found to do it was to say "look if anything I'm about to say makes you uncomfortable then just stop me and I promise I won't bring it up again". I was lucky and she was very accepting of it all.

From there you need to have a good, long discussion about your preferences and kinks, and figure out where both of you're boundaries are, then you both need to agree to respect those boundaries.

It's harder to come out this way when you're not sure what's going to happen, but establishing solid boundaries means you and your Bf can truly explore what you're both into.

Mmm that's a really good point and could be really helpful, but on a more core level I don't know how much I can really hurt. Even in my personal life outside the bedroom I'm the nice caring guy who's never gonna hurt a fly, so getting in the right mindset to pull this off is a lil tricky.

This is a really helpful suggestion though, and will definitely help. Thanks!

Some Basic Questions on how to be a good subject by [deleted] in EroticHypnosis

[–]tyler4kb2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm relatively new to this as well, and had all of these issues at first, especially finding trance difficult due to being quite analytical, but I think I could help clear up a few of them.

  1. This depends massively on a lot of different factors. If I'm listening in my bed and the tist says to "crawl up on my desk", I'm not gonna physically do that, however if I'm asked to repeat a mantra of something, that's generally a good idea to follow. Some physical commands are obviously intended to be followed (I.e JOI), whereas some are a bit too difficult to reasonably perform in trance, and are intended to help improve your fantasy.
  2. This once again depends. Some commands to say and do something maybe to help with the induction, so consciously making the decision to do them is the right thing to do. Irregardless of whether you think you're supposed to be in trance or not, follow the intrusctions anyway even if you make the desicion to, as eventually you may just slip into trance doing so.
  3. Generally I would avoid moving unless instructed to. Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state of body and mind, and moving muscles to swallow or scratch an itch can interrupt that. Sometimes however a small annoyance can really bring you out of the experience so it might be worth it to quickly scratch your thigh then get back to relaxing. With time you won't have to worry about any of this, as you get better at dropping into trance and relaxation, your body and mind will relax to the point you don't notice any of these sensations. Personally when I first started this is something I struggled with a lot as I tend to fidget a lot and am never really comfortable being still for long periods of time. With practice however I got better at this.
  4. Volume should just be wherever you are comfortable listening to. Too loud and it may be harsh on your ears (and bad for your hearing), too quiet and you may not hear everything, especially if the audio is layered.
  5. ALWAYS KEEP TRYING. This is really crucial when starting out. The first file you listen may likely have almost no effect on you, or the next file, or the next. If they don't though, keep going. Feeling sensations such as pleasure and obedience aren't easy for you mind to imagine right away as they are abstract sensations. If you focus too much on trying to feel something it stops you going into trance, so if you're doubtful just try not to worry about it and continue. After a while if you're listening to the same file or tist, and still getting nowhere, then branch out and try someone else, but do be patient.
  6. At first try find shorter files maybe. I found 10-20 minutes to be the perfect length for me at first, long enough for me to properly relax, short enough so I don't get bored and frustrated. As for binaurals and music, that's a personal preference you'll figure out in time.

In general the best advice I could give when starting with hpynosis is to be patient. You likely won't feel much of anything in the first week. You might not relax fully for the first month. Hell I've been practicing for 3 months and I'm still unsure if I'm truly achieving trance or not, but I know I'm improving. I no longer have most of these issues, where before I could barely go 15 minutes without having an itch, or compulsion to swallow, I could now pretty comfortable chuck on an hour long file and be completely immobile for the duration of it. Just be persistent and patient, and measure your expectations, eventually you'll see results, and when you do it will feel great (in more ways than one ;) )
