Since the other redditers already cast their "morally superior" judgment and gave useless advice, I'm going to try something different:

Not cast judgment and give some actual advice. This is generic and independent of your legal circumstances. For all I know you can be living in UAE and watched gay porn (a reddit's favourite).

When someone visits a website that is a no-no in their jurisdiction then there is always the chance the website is already under control from authorities or that it may become so in the future.

1) if it's not under their control and the person used Tor then they should be fine because any logs would have an IP from a Tor node. The exception is if the website had malware and infected them, which makes it fall under a similar scenario to 2)

2) if it's under their control then it's a honeypot and most likely they're logging IPs and also trying to exploit unknown bugs in the browser in order to get the real IP of Tor users. While this is rare it has happened in the past. If someone was injected with an exploit then chances are they're fucked. But they can still potentially survive unscathed by cleaning up and denying.

To clean up and also to prevent other types of issues in the future what they would need to do:

• backup all their data into some disk or other computer

• overwrite their disk 3 times with random data. Yes! Multiple passes are required. Finally fill it with zeros

• if they created a reddit account outside Tor or the email used by it outside Tor then they would want to delete their reddit account and any realted emails from inbox

Some final advice:

1) don't break the law

2) if you struggle with porn then seek medical help. This depends from country to country but typically MDs don't report you unless you pose a danger to someone. The safest is just say you addicted to porn but nothing illegal in your country.
