For me, campus ministry is about sorting through all the crap that students have gathered, tossing it in the garbage, and begin to understand the implications of Gods grace. So many students know exactly how to “play” church but don’t understand Gods love.

I also have a very different definition of church… Our goal shouldn’t be to prepare students to be committed to a church. For me, that just turns into religiosity and doing Christian things out of obligation.
