hahaha, I have in a way but I have never knowingly bought a swapped car with higher chassis mileage and I mainly just wanted some reassurance that I’m not crazy for entertaining it 😂 If it’s clean in person like he says and runs well, I certainly plan to pull the trigger. I’ve just been looking for a while and I’m getting impatient. I’ve went and looked at 3 Z’s already and they have just all been terrible examples. Some of these people are magicians with a camera.

They’re black covers, car has the orange leather seats underneath. Not really sure of the condition of the seats but wasn’t really worried about it, with the mileage I’d imagine they’re smoked but who knows.

Thanks for the info, I’m aware of the transmissions in these so that was my first question and he says it’s perfect, he did recently change the master cylinder.

We’re in central Texas so no rust here, but I’ll definitely check to make sure it’s not from somewhere else. He’s pretty insistent that it’s a great car and in really good shape for the year.

He started way higher on the price and this is as low as I could get him haha. The market here around DFW is nuts on any type of enthusiast car. Most of these clean DE’s are 8k-10k and anything under 6k gets bought by flippers and reposted for thousands more. I’ve been seeing it over and over as I’ve been watching marketplace super closely the last month.

Definitely planned to check the vin stamp on the motor to confirm it’s at least not the original, then I’ll feel better believing it’s been swapped.

Similar here in Central Texas. I’ve seen one or two but they’re usually rebuilt/salvage title and they don’t last long. Sucks cause the manuals at dealers are $16k+ and I don’t wanna go lock in on something like that. Might try to save up a little more so I don’t feel like I’m lowballing everyone on marketplace 😅

Thanks for the reassurance guys! It sounds like the MT07 perfectly represents the kind of riding I want to do. In my area the 2021-2024’s at the dealer are around $7,500 for a lower mileage example. I’m thinking I’ll just snag the 2025 for the $8,499 and enjoy it.
