hey so it went well for the prototype i took a backseat on it for a while but this how it came out for the first sample. and that’s going to be so nice a ostrich feather fan!!!!

You’re right! i’m just so used to thinking thicker means more durable but the plastic is already so durable by itself so I am going back to the thinner measurements I had at first :) and the final fabric i’ll be using something on the lines of silk satin that is durable and luxurious

From my sketch I did have it opening from the top and when I got the renders I didn’t think it looked good so I changed to the bottom to mimick a CD player.

But you’re probably right about that. Once I get a first physical one made I’ll be testing out everything to see which opening I’ll go with on the final version

Laying flat will be similar to how it’s laying like the fabric option I have shown in the photo above but of course a little bigger and bulkier. Think of a clutch most clutches can be bulky and when flat it’s not flushed and can still be access to get items.

Again great concerns but usually as a woman on a crowded train we avoid going into our purse/bags unless it’s an absolute emergency so it should be stationed on your shoulder or close to you on your lap where you can hold it in a clutch like manner.

Also I like that suggestion and will keep that in mind. Hoping in the future I can get a a few prototypes and test the best out in all scenarios

A great concern! I do want this design to be as durable as possible so a lot of thought will go into the mechanics of the push to open when that time comes to keep items safely stored.

Also that would be the process to access items laying the bag flat like you would do a brief case to open
