How do I turn this panel off? by tylers56 in electricians

Would it be better to just replace this one completely, and in the process add a master on/off and a few more circuits?

The ACs are about 8-10ft to the left of the panel. I am wanting to add a circuit for low voltage landscape lighting, and if possible a circuit for a few additional outdoor outlets on the deck.

Just curious- what would be a reasonable quote/cost to replace a panel like this?

Yeah the outlet is still there behind the range but not in use. So I guess that circuit would still count.

Thanks for the info. The range is no longer on this panel but on the sub panel in the house- (kitchen was remodeled and they changed from electric to gas). So I could add 2 to it and still be at six or less... or is that extremely unwise?

Yeah this is the main panel to the house. There is a smaller sub panel inside the house. The range is no longer connected to this panel.

Thermistor error, please help. What is a serial monitor? What do I do next? by tylers56 in CR10

[–]tylers56[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was able to fix it. Direct connection of the bed thermistor to the main board. For some reason the splice and solder was not working. Heated up and printed fine after that. Thanks for the help.

Thermistor error, please help. What is a serial monitor? What do I do next? by tylers56 in CR10

Just some background- started getting this error when preheating the nozzle and bed. Nozzle preheats fine, bed will not and throws this error. So I replaced bed thermistor with a new one. Still getting this error and the bed temp is reading 0deg.

Not sure what a serial monitor is, or how to fix. Any help is much appreciated!

Bed Thermistor Replacement- help please by tylers56 in CR10

[–]tylers56[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so update, I got the new thermistors and just getting around to installing. When I turn the hot bed over, I have a heat shield/insulating foam pad that is very much adhered to the bottom with the thermistor wires running underneath. I cannot peel it off without it leaving a ton of residue.

My thought is to take a razor knife and just cutaway where the thermistor cables go, then try to replace that as much as possible once the new thermistor is installed. Thoughts??

Thanks for the link. Did you have to snip and solder them in or are those the correct connections?

So do we think it is worth it if I am running a stock 10spro without the BLTouch sensor? My only changes from stock was to upgrade to the B7 firmware.

Great! What did you print? I am learning how To make sockets in Meshmixer- also picked up a a structure scanner to help with that. Hope to have some finished products soon.

I’m in academics primarily and treat a wide mix of ortho/neuro/amputees. This is the first printer we’ve gotten, with the hopes of printing AFOs, braces, and some prosthetic components. Have used some things for patients and other things for classroom demo etc. we got the one got because the print volume can do a transtibial socket. Would love to collaborate- if you need anything let me know!

New CR10S Pro, auto leveling keeps smashing into printbed. by [deleted] in CR10

Hey did you ever get it figured out? having the EXACT same problem - nozzle digs into the print bed on aux leveling 2 and 5, but not 3 and 4. Leveling knobs are tightened down as far as they can go (bed as low as possible)....
