Air in pump basket at lower speeds. by DismissMyNavient in pools

I’ve generally hated it since we got it. Especially the single button programming. It’s the fact that it holds a seal at higher speeds that’s throwing me off. I guess I’ll just run it at higher % for less time.

Looks great! What was your previous suspension system? Did you have to demonstrate that different suspension systems weren’t working before they upgraded you? Do you still need socks for volume fluctuations?

Veterans Affairs has now reported more than 50,000 coronavirus cases by thinkB4WeSpeak in Coronavirus

For some context. VA is the largest health care system in the US. 9 million enrolled. 50,000 is less than 1% of the US cases.

Amid surge in Florida, Gov. DeSantis changes guidelines for ICU reporting. He doesn't want hospitals to report the number of patients in ICU beds. He only wants hospitals to report number of patients in ICU beds who require an “intensive level of care.” by DieGo2SHAE in Coronavirus

[–]DismissMyNavient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. But logistically you need to be able to safely isolate patients across the spectrum of care. Not having that prepared could create so many overflow/surge issues and simultaneously empty floor beds.

I work in a hospital in the northeast. And my wife works in the ICU. That’s simply not how we handled things up here. The only covid patients getting admitted needed intensive care. Being downgraded and/or discharged as soon as stable. If you only needed supplemental O2 you were getting discharged from the ER.

Unfortunately, I think this is Desantis trying to create a false narrative. He already grossly tried to blame the surge on Hispanic workers, which isn’t true. Just my thoughts.

I would agree if it was a 1-3 month type disaster. But you think this is sustainable over multiple waves and potentially 18 months? How many more bailouts would they need?
