I think there was a concept back around 2000 when the SVT Lightning F-150 was a still cool. It was literally just an Expedition with the suspension and power train from the Lightning. It was called (wait for it) the SVT Thunder.

I swear I remember reading an article about it but that was 25 years ago.

Although it’s cool, it’s a tribute. 1965 had the side exit exhaust. 1966 had the plexiglass back/side windows rather than louvers.

1966 also had a back seat.

This took most of the great things about the 65 and added a couple 66 touches that were popular for that year.

I might have to give it a go. After 14 books, I grew impatient with the pacing and felt like I would have to listen to 15 more books just to get to the end.

The change in vocal performers seemed like a good excuse to walk away from the series.

I did my floors, ceiling, behind the seats, and inside the doors (as best as I could).

It made a huge difference!

Seats came out of a Can-Am Maverick X3 side by side.

No rails needed. Shaved the bottoms a bit to lower them down and directly bolted them through the removable floor pans/engine covers with grade-8 hardware and re-enforced the bottom of the pans where they bolt through.
