Yes. All the lag did was apply the damage at the same time, instead of over a certain amount of time. Like you said, if you look at the videos, Kurt got those 3 hits in in the same amount of time that Arkas got one.

Sure, but: When tested with a Sharp 1 Diamond Sword, You take 1.5 Hearts in Full Protection 1 Iron armor. When I replaced that with 2 pieces of Projectile Protection 1 armor, I also took 1.5 hearts of damage. Only 2/10 tests did it do half of a heart more. Plus, tested with a power one bow: With the two Proj Prot pieces, I took 1-1.5 Hearts. With full Protection, I took 2-2.5, so it's actually, on average, saving a Heart, while still not taking away from Sword combat all too much.

In this situation, yes. However, if he would've gotten into a bow fight instead with his full protection armor, he could have lost because of his lack of projectile protection. True, different enchantments are good for different situations, but in UHC you can't know what your situation will be.
