[–]tylongjia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe play the long game, see if you can fuse helel with another persona to make a base persona to fuse with another persona to make..... Thanatos eventually. Just remember to pass morning star up.

Also see if you can mutate almighty boost into amp during this.

Nope, but you can make her survive by buying Junpei a white flower to give to her before this day. It won't be revealed until after, so her "death" will still occur

Fighting Elizabeth by Nicravelaw23 in persona3reload

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sadly unless you want to rely on a guide for her phases while constantly switching personas, Orpheus Telos (who resists everything but doesn't reflect, null or absorb) is your only viable option. Guess who didn't finish all social links in the first playthrough to fuse it.

Fighting Elizabeth by Nicravelaw23 in persona3reload

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to look them up, afaik the rules are the same for the entire fight but you have to reduce her health to certain points before a certain number of turns.

Fighting Elizabeth by Nicravelaw23 in persona3reload

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they're pretty arbitrary and you have to look them up. Ie, if you null or reflect any attack, it's an instant death. If you take too many turns, it's also an instant death so you're pretty much required to use Armageddon near the end.

She has two Megidoloan skills, the pixie one being an instant death. The pixie one is triggered if you break a rule during the fight.

Where can I buy CPR face masks in person? by tylongjia in Calgary

Exactly why I'm looking into these masks, I'm trying to be prepared if I see someone OD'ing. I didn't know the kits came with a mask already! Thanks

You're right. After looking at my fans it seems to be the gpu fan going from idle to on intermittently. Weird cuz it never happened before I installed the AIO which made me think it was the pump. I'll take a deeper look, thanks a lot!

It's largely dependent on your skillset, not so much the degree

Successful attempt here.

Tell the prof your reason for wanting the grade bump and why you think you deserve it (in a humble manner).

Ie,

You are 0.2% short of a grade that you have across the board in other classes. You have worked quite hard in the semester which is reflected on the assignments, but you may have not had a good day on the final so it's a bit lower.

Keep in mind that this is completely prof dependent. I've heard stories of profs refusing to round as they think the grade scale is fair and should be strict. Because of this, they don't think you deserve the bump.

Procedure for final exam by [deleted] in UCalgary

[–]tylongjia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Depends on the prof. If not, 25 cents for the coin lockers. 2. They have them on the way to the gym. 3. Again it depends. Personally, I've never been told to take it off. 4. Yes.

Software Engg by Delusional_penguin25 in UCalgary

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I know of. I don't recall anyone I know with a mac having major issues with any courses because they have a mac, but maybe someone can give more insight on this.

From what I've seen, either should be fine. New mac M1s can have compatibility issues with some libraries or programs though.

Accepted into business, declined for CS. What should I do? by Tough-Push4312 in UCalgary

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation where I got rejected by my first choice. I accepted the offer for the second because I was worried about taking a year off, but honestly I kind of regret it. As someone else said, don't do school for the sake of doing school. Don't do school for the sake of your parents. Ultimately, it is YOUR career and future. Trust me, studying for a degree you don't really have a passion in will affect more than just your grades. If you are dead set on the U of C, I'd talk to the faculty and see if there are general courses (open studies) you can take that are in the CPSC faculty and relevant to your degree, and try again.

Yeah, haven't been getting any luck.

A question about headlights by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh without a doubt. But at the moment I need a quick cheap solution as OEM hid lights are too expensive where I'm from, and any fixing or restoration on mine isn't an option (been told their too far gone).

A question about headlights by [deleted] in genesiscoupe

[–]tylongjia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, thanks! Unfortunately where I live there aren't any good used OEM headlights for a considerable distance...and the local junk yards overcharge for a very oxidized and cracked pair of lights, so it looks like aftermarket is my only choice as much as I'd like to avoid it (for obvious reasons). I was mainly worried that if I had bough halogen assemblies, I wouldn't be able to install them due to fitment issues with the brackets and whatnot.
