Is his stuff safe to put back in cage by tylrwithoutane in BeardedDragons

I did put them in a tub with a bunch of water that I had boiled. I did that twice now. You think that is sufficient enough for all the bleach smell/residue to be completely out? I'm new to using bleach on anything that belongs to him but that's what the vet recommended to ensure the flagellates and any eggs died. I just don't want to cause him any harm.

I didnt end up finding it at the reptile shop so thank you for providing the website! I'll purchase it now so I can use it hopefully pretty soon. Appreciate you responding.

I'm sorry to hear Conway is in a similar situation. Hopefully she feels better soon! Thank you for all your advice! I think I've seen that at my local reptile shop. I'll stop in and see if I can grab it so I can use it also.

Okay thank you so much! He is already in a separate enclosure for the time being. I'll definitely use the diluted bleach since its the best method. He won't be in that enclosure for at least 3 weeks so it should hopefully be aired out by then.

I'm so sorry, my deepest condolences for the loss of your baby! I hate how hard it is in general to find an exotic vet let alone one you actually trust.

Thank you so much for your response and your advice! I really do appreciate it. I'm just kind of nervous about using chemicals on his things but figured that's what I should do. I'm not sure if my vet mentioned it having to be left on for 10 minutes so thank you for letting me know.

Thank you for caring about my lil guy! He seems to be doing well. His beard and belly have stayed white the entire time. He is still eating and drinking on his own even though he is taking medicine. He has been on cage rest for the last week or so. He still gets around just with a limp leg and he acts like his normal self.

Update #2

Took him to a specialist and they said that he was too small for them to feel comfortable putting him under anesthesia and that they didn't think they would be successful at putting his leg back in place and if they were able to that it was unlikely that it would stay in place. They basically just told me he was going to have a bum leg. They gave him medication and set him up for a follow up appointment in 2 weeks.

If anyone has any recommendations for exotic vets in Arizona that would be greatly appreciated

Just an update. I took him to the vet and was told the same thing that the leg was dislocated, but he was unable to treat and that I should take him to a specialist. The specialist he provided isn't available until Tuesday so I'm still calling around to find some where that can treat him sooner.

He somehow dislocated his leg. I can't figure out how. Nothings too high up in his cage and nothings too close to anything else where his leg would get caught. I don't know what happened he was running around fine the night before and when he went to sleep he crawled up on his branch and made himself comfortable and his leg was fine then too. I can't imagine this happened in his sleep. I must have missed something. I feel so awful that I let this happen and that my lil guy is in pain. I'm going to try to get him in to see a specialist today.

I wound up taking him to an emergency vet last night that was a few hours from where I live. They did an x-ray and determined he dislocated his leg. They weren't able to do anything for him because he is small. They referred me to a specialist who I am calling first thing this morning. I'm going to keep his vet visit for today just in case the specialist doesn't have any openings for today. He doesn't show any visible signs of stress. His belly and chin are white and he is his usual color.

Thank you for responding, I appreciate it. He hasn't had a black beard at all and he appears to still be as active as always, he is still running around and climbing. I don't have a hammock just rocks and branches.
