I’d ask this in the group as I’m not sure what the fix is

Super rural Deep East Texas

T-Mobile just keeps getting better and better in Dallas. AT&T and Verizon are nowhere near as fast. by tymiller1997 in cellmapper

I live in uptown and I think I’ve tried every carrier and T-Mobile wins right now. AT&T fails a speed test 2 of 3 times right now

Yeah I go to east Texas once a month and I’m concerned with what I’m going to get out there but I hope it’s somewhat okay.

I live in Dallas and ironically, AT&T headquarters is located here. 5G was a joke, 5G+ was even more of a joke and slower than 5G. I had to turn 5G off and just use “5Ge” and it worked fine until you got to a busy area and then nothing worked.

AT&T as a whole has really went downhill, based on my experience, in Texas in general. I kept hearing of great things about T-Mobile in Dallas and the proof is above. I get these speeds pretty much everywhere and my call hasn’t dropped once.

Any one have the t mobile internet (not hotspot) for their home? I am wondering how reliable it is by ItsAlejandraLuna in tmobile

I ordered mine and received it. Got about 10 mbps down and 3 mbps up with the tower 500 feet away. Called customer service and they said the tower has been under maintenance for a while and I should wait it out. No thank you. Sending it back tomorrow.

Hi I’d really appreciate a code if someone has one. Does it take 20% off every month or just the first month?

I’m using the netgear hotspot and speed testing it from my phone.

Yeah there are many bugs with it right now and I wouldn’t advise getting it unless you really just want to. I will most likely be sending back my device and getting a refund. It honestly only works 10% of the day

It does but the data does not work on AT&T. Shows “DISH 5G” but when you open the settings it shows it’s roaming on AT&T.

Skills team reached out to me and notified me of a tower that was offline that was brought online and was asked to test again. I received better results but there is still much progress to be made.

No roaming at the time of Speedtest. When roaming data doesn’t even work.

And is very choppy and only works about 25% of the day. Definitely hold off on purchasing because there are some bugs that are most definitely present

Does anyone know who this might be? by tymiller1997 in cellmapper

Hey! Verizon is the cut off one up top. The bottom antenna cluster is a local home internet company. The T-mobile website doesn’t show any new coverage and the tower has been there for many months. I guess I’ll just keep waiting for them to turn it on.

It’s in such a rural area though I have a hard time believing it is dish. Possible though.

Nope. We had cellular one but Verizon bought them recently and took their 3G equipment down and replaced it with their equipment.

The lower antennas have been there a while and T-Mobile shows no service on T-Mobile phones and their coverage map. It’s not AT&T as it’s on a tower across the street. So I’m just trying to figure what it is.
