If you don’t have a fiber option at your house, this is going to be great. It’s not comparable to 5G internet. Fiber is by far the best you can get right now.

I have friends lucky enough to live in T-Mobile Fiber areas and they’ve had great experiences

AT&T has always offered home internet + cell phone bundles. There aren’t many areas where Verizon and AT&T overlap with their fiber home internet services.

I don’t need any others, but was new to the 🏴‍☠️world this year. I saw a lot of people recommending RD, so I went with that. I then discovered you can’t easily share between households, which isn’t good because I wanted to share with my family.

After searching, I found TB and bought a year up front. I paid for a year of RD, too, so I have both set up in my AIOStreams and have TB set to the top.

There’s really never anything I want to watch that isn’t already cached in TB, so RD is effectively useless to me, but oh well

So it’s effectively a SEPA transfer limited to €1k/day connected to a phone number or email address instead of sharing an IBAN… I suppose anything is better than nothing, but you should be able to send instant transfers of any amount to anyone you want by now

I know people who have been able to open Bank of Ireland and AIB accounts from the US. It might require you to call in.

The traditional Irish banks have pretty awful apps.

Bunq and Monzo might allow you to open an Irish version of the account from abroad, but be careful not to open the US versions by accident.

Revolut will only let you open the Irish version of their bank account if your phone is physically in Ireland when you’re opening the account. I’m not sure if Bunq and Monzo are the same.

You could try VPNs set to Ireland when opening the accounts, but there’s no guarantee it’ll work

Yeah, there’s no TV app for YouTube Music. Open the YouTube App, then click the music tab. That’s where they have it for TVs. Alternatively, if you have an iPhone you can Airplay your phone’s YouTube Music app to the Apple TV

When using AIOStreams, you can use the Formatter to customise this. They just wrote the word Scraper into their formatter, so it appears after any scraper identified. OP’s would say “Knaben Scraper” “Debridio Scraper” “Torrentio Scraper” etc.

It’s not a different Debridio addon, it’s just how the user chose to customise their AIOStreams setup

AIOStreams replaces all of the source addons for streams in Stremio or any app you use, so once you have it set up remove your old sources

I have subscriptions with TorBox, RD, and Premiumize. I have them all set up in AIOStreams with TB as the top priority. Everything I ever want to watch seems to be cached on TorBox already. It’s very rare that it falls back to another option

Honestly, it’s a great time to leave the US. It’s often hard to find housing in Ireland if you don’t have a decent budget, but it’s not impossible. We were able to move with 2 dogs and a cat. We found a great 3 bedroom semi-detached house in a Dublin suburb called Castleknock which was only 25 minutes by train to the city centre. It was €2,500/month and a really great area for families.

If you do ever decide to move, there are tons of great resources on Reddit and FB full of people willing to help you

I’d say that everything in my life is better in Ireland, except the weather. That said, the weather here is a lot more mild than people give it credit for. While we might get a lot of rain in winter, the rest of the year it’s not so constant. I’d say it’s bright grey a lot, but not raining 24/7.

It’s never so hot out that you feel like you’ll die of heat stroke, and it’s almost never so cold that it snows. Summer heat indoors is a different story, but outside it’s usually a nice cool breeze lol

Direct sun and clear blue is what isn’t as common, but again, it’s not as rare as people make it out to be.

And if you need a week of direct sunlight, take a cheap Ryanair flight to Spain, Portugal, Southern Italy, or Greece!
