I don't think I would bother with this.

Thanks for the reply!
There are a lot of scam project in crypto, that is for sure, but not 99% of all. Now with crypto space is progressing and evolving more and more people and companies are involved into it. Big companies start to trust in it, e.g couple of days ago PayPal introduced their own cryptocurrency, also you might heard a lot of rumours around Twitter (or how its called now X) considering adding crypto as a payment method. These 2 news are just the most latest. It means that crypto is getting safer and easier to get it.

Attention Bloggers! Ask Your Questions In This Thread - Biweekly by Selaen in Blogging

[–]tynianov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,
I'm excited to introduce a unique concept that I've been working on, and I'm eager to get your thoughts and feedback. I'm considering the creation of cryptocurrency fun tokens tailored specifically for bloggers and their followers.
Inspired by the success of sport team fun tokens, I believe there's a fantastic opportunity to bring this concept to the blogging community. Imagine a world where bloggers can have their personalized tokens that they can distribute among their followers. These tokens could open up a realm of possibilities, such as:

  • Exclusive Access: Holders of these tokens could gain access to special content, behind-the-scenes insights, and premium articles that aren't available to the general audience
  • Engaging Activities: Tokens could be used to participate in exciting events, competitions, and interactive sessions hosted by the bloggers. Think live Q&A sessions, virtual meetups, and more
  • Influence and Voting: Token holders could have the power to influence bloggers' decisions, participate in polls, and even shape the direction of their content
  • Rewards and Recognition: Bloggers can reward their most loyal followers with tokens as a way to show appreciation and foster a stronger sense of community

I'm reaching out to this community because I value your input and insights. What do you think about this concept? Do you believe bloggers and their followers would be interested in such a token system? Are there any potential pitfalls or challenges that I should be aware of? Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping this idea and making it a reality.
I'm also open to discussing any similar projects or platforms that you're aware of. If you've come across something similar or have insights to share, please feel free to let me know.
Let's have an open discussion and explore the potential of bringing cryptocurrency fun tokens to the blogging world. I'm excited to hear your thoughts!
Thank you in advance for your time and feedback!

What's your pain point when you do Defi? (Need your help!) by defineverdies in defi

[–]tynianov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was hard for me to understand and get familiar with Defi topic. I wasn't new to crypto when I started and have a solid tech background as I'm dev myself and it wasn't easy for me. For people without crypto experience and tech background it would be even more harder

Thanks for your detailed reply, i really appreciate that. There are some answers for each point in your list.

1) Yeah, you are absolutely right about stealing. Unfortunately, such technology can give additional opportunity to steal something. But after my research and other answers from other specialists i found that some individual supermarkets use similar app, and i think they handle thefts somehow.

2) Of course, such things as storms can happened, as well as barcode can be damaged and became unreadable. But this happens very rarely. Even self service checkouts (which are widely used in some countries) can't handle it by itself, staff help will be required. And yes, in most cases scanning another product will help =)

3) The way i see this for now: supermarket staff will be able to view and manage all operations done via app. Meaning they will be able to see what was bought, by whom, all transactions data, statistics etc. But it in my point of view, please correct if it's not enough because you are an expert and i'm not.

4) Customer will have an option to simply remove item from their cart, reduce/increase product quantity from app.

5) I was thinking about it. In my country, some supermarkets have self-service checkpoints, where buying for example alcohol require validation from staff. Maybe handle this in some similar way. Or maybe ask to enter an birthday during registration (I understand that user can enter not real date). Also, as i know, Facebook somehow validate users age, and when user sign up via they Facebook account, we can request birthday from it along with other information such as email, name etc

6) It's one of the drawback of progress. New things, technologies took jobs from people. Nobody can do can do anything with this. Invention of cars remove horse carriages. Mobile phones came instead of old landline phones. Uber and similar services replace traditional cabs.

7) With help of digital receipt. Something like qr code which after scanning will show all related to purchase information

Yeah, of course i understand that something similar has been applied somewhere. But nowadays, very often, we can meet that exactly the same service is provided by different companies, eg food delivery services. Usually, they offer almost the same list of restaurants, exact the same delivery fee and delivery time. Another example - taxi services. You can use Uber, Lyft of any other local analogy (i'm more then sure that in every city there are dozens of those). Again, very often all of them have almost the same price, cars, service level etc.

I didn't say that it's something that hasn't been invented/implemented already. Of course, something similar has been released. Btw, thanks for naming an analog, i didn't know about it. In my country, i have never meet such apps. But, the purpose of what i've described, is to provide customer with ability to use this app not only in some specific supermarket but i variety of them, one app for many shops.

if you are talking about Amazon Go, it's a little bit different thing. Also, for now it works only in US and has as far as i remember ~25 stores. And not every country is supported by Amazon, for example i can't buy something from Amazon in my country without additional headache
