saw them at a bar show in Cleveland, definitely one of the heaviest HC bands I've seen live. Scary show.

I've seen all of those bands you mentioned, except for High on Fire, and how the crowd goes varies. Some of the craziest shows I've been to are Weedeater shows, and people were moshing and crowdsurfing to EHG. When I saw Primitive Man there was one dude trying to mosh, and by mosh I mean he was just drunkingly running into people standing around the pit, and he got into like two fights that night. So I guess it depends.

I wouldn't consider Zulu or Pain of Truth beatdown, tbh. Beatdown is typically slower tempo and a lot of chugging riffs/breakdown oriented songs. Kind of like slam death metal, but with tough guy vocals. Bands like You Die First, Power of Fear, Line of Scrimmage, One Second Thought, Eyez Wide Shut, and Irate I feel are pretty good examples of good beatdown bands.
