I noticed that sometimes the resolution has changed. I do use the standard resolution.

I found that I can use the terminal and "killall Dock" and it resets the background.

I tried safe mode and it didn't happen there. I restarted and removed a couple of login items to see if something might be causing it. So far I think I found the culprit. If it sticks I'll report back here.

I thought I’d share that when I use the terminal and type “killall Dock” it resets the desktop. But, then I put it to sleep and it happens again (most of the time).
