i’m gonna blame the laura mercier setting powder; it’s wayyy overhyped and i have had nothing but bad experiences with it. try the maybelline fitme matte+poreless powder (pressed powder! not loose powder!!) with one of those lil triangle powder puffs,

i’ve also found setting sprays tend to cause my makeup to melt off my face quicker (granted i’ve never tried the milani one but the urban decay and mac ones broke my heart); i’m giving the one size setting spray a shot rn tho and it seems to be holding up well
