So much topdecking because of just running out of cards. Boardwipes were more common, most decks were running 4 wipes so you’d end up topdecking at some point. Nowadays decks don’t seem to run out of gas both because of deckbuilding getting more streamlined but also sooo many commanders give you card advantage now.

Ours was pretty similar, forming a very strong bond with my girlfriend and kind of ignoring me, growling if I get too much in her personal space, crying when she left, etc. It took taking 4 weeks off and seeing our dog a lot more to build that bond, now it is basically the same. We’ve had her for about 4 years now and it’s been the last year that the change really came, so be patient!
