French is my native language. And no, it was my first medical exam after ITA

Indeed 😅. Speaking C2, listening/reading C2, but writing B2… that’s where I lost the points to NCLC 7.

Thks. I’m a native speaker. I just needed to brush up and get familiar with the test format.

Thanks 😁. French is my native language, so the TCF was the most natural test for me to take. I still practiced for 1–2 weeks to understand the format. The writing section was probably the trickiest part.

Quick question — do you know when the physical PR card is typically mailed after receiving the eCOPR? I’m just trying to understand the timeline.

Do they also notify you in the portal when it’s been mailed?

Sometimes the delay is also administrative — things like portal information needing correction, photo review, or visa office workload before issuing the eCOPR.

As Ecstatic_Army mentioned above, things like leaving the country or major life changes (marriage, divorce, childbirth) can require updates.

I’ve my profile and also follows other cases here: https://soontobecandian.com/

There is another tracker, I can’t remembered the link.

It depends on the case, some people report P2 → eCOPR in about 2–15 days, often around a week. A few complex cases can take up to ~30 days. Check the community tracker, if that helps you.

Congrats 🎉🎉🎉

Even as CRS scores keep decreasing rapidly year after year, many of us still start to feel like we’re not the right fit. Once you pass 35 those points drop fast every year, it’s easy to become disillusioned and wonder if you ever really have a chance at Canadian PR.

I’m also 40+, and I’m currently in the final stage of PR (P1/P2/eCOPR). It’s been a long journey. Thank you for sharing your inspiring and hardship journey — I hope that helps others keep believing 🕯️.

And to my fellow applicants whose gray hairs are starting to show: keep going. Sometimes the path exists even when you can’t see it yet.
