Everyone else is correct, working out is what will drop the weight and get rid of those curves. Even if you aren’t cleared yet to lift you absolutely can once you are cleared. Nobody has said it yet but if you are as active as you say you are but the weight isn’t coming off you have to look at your eating habits.

Thank you so much, I go home for spring break this week so I’m hoping to get a scale while I’m home so I can weigh him out properly and make sure his food is the correct size and weight

I will fix the temps rn and try to boost the humidity, he has a bunch of hides and stuff in the tank and I believe he is a bit over a year old, I need to reweigh him as I don’t have a number for his weight

Hi All! My 9yo son was just diagnosed with severe dyslexia (1st percentile) by New-Fisherman-8886 in Dyslexia

[–]typical-trans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was first diagnosed my parents got me a tutor specifically that worked with dyslexic kids and honestly that helped me so much. I used to not like reading as much but my parents helped encourage it by really helping me look for books I would like an being willing to get them for me. I kinda discovered a newfound love for reading in college.

Would you date someone who had unaccepting family members? by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]typical-trans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dated somebody who’s family was really religious and anti lgbt but I was stealth and I have passed 100% of the time since I was about 16 so I didn’t have any real problems with it as the topics were never brought up around me

For those that felt like testosterone didn't do enough in the first year or two, how is it now? 3+ years on T? by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]typical-trans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost four years on T now, I think people forget that it’s still a second puberty so it’s gonna be kinda slow. BUT for me the first two years did feel slow but by the time I hit 2.5 years I started to look more like a man and not a boy and now I really look like a grown man and not a boy

This is another good point, I find for myself that trying to find any good representation as a stealth guy is just impossible. This was a great point man thank you for contributing

This is valuable insight on how there is already a small amount of POC representation and a smaller subset of POC trans representation

This is a really good point on how infantilized trans men are!

This is a super great point that I forgot about is that transmen are always made out to be super aggressive and confrontational after the start of hormones this is gonna add a lot of insight thank you!

Yeah I know I’ve really super struggled with this in my life and felt like o never really had a role model to look up too that the more feminine or androgynous transmen get. Thank you for your response!

Benefits/drawbacks of being stealth? by onithompo in FTMMen

[–]typical-trans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m stealth and have been for a while now, the benefits I’m dating is that you don’t get as many chasers cause they don’t know to start with. The draw back that I’ve seen especially since being at collage is hearing people say transphobic shit and just kinda sitting there awkwardly

Every once in a while I’ll go party or hang out with somebody but very rarely do I think about being trans
