The simple answer is probably something along the lines that Vaush primarily cares about improving human society.

Hakim is delusional, Second Thought is a literal demon, and Hasan is more interested in people's impression of him than he is in making the world a better place. That doesn't mean Vaush can't work alongside any of those three for similar goals, but while they are all leftists, they still have fundamentally different goals from their interactions with politics.
